The second annual SRJC Community Dance Festival provides a place for community-building, artistic nourishment, exquisite dance presentations, and dance education for all ages, abilities, and demographics. Through diverse stage performances, SRJCCDF strives to bring awareness to the extensive artistic and cultural dance community of the city of Santa Rosa and Sonoma County, and their reputation as a hub for the art of dance. Artists participating in the SRJCCDF create complex, multi-layered, high caliber artistic work and the dance festival provides opportunities for artists to connect with other artists outside their own cultures to engage in innovative collaborations.
SRJCCDF supports dance artists by providing a safe performance space, videos and photos for their marketing needs and grant applications, artist referrals, production advice, artist resources and other forms of support for our beloved cultural artists to thrive.
Directed by Casandra Hillman and Tanya Knippelmeir the SRJC Community Dance Festival performance dates are December 15th and 16th at 7pm. The festival will be held at the beautiful newly remodeled Burbank Theater on the Santa Rosa Junior College Campus.
*SRJC students and high school students can purchase tickets at the door for $15.00 with a valid school ID.
